About of Traditional Sabbath
The Traditional & Cultural Sabbath/Week is one of the most vibrant and cherished highlights of the fellowship’s academic year. This week-long celebration is a heartfelt reminder that our identity in Christ beautifully coexists with our unique cultural heritage.
Through traditional attire, local music, storytelling, and shared meals, this program gives members a platform to express the richness of their backgrounds, celebrate their roots, and learn more about their spiritual and national heritage.
Purpose of the Traditional Sabbath
To Celebrate Cultural Diversity within the unity of the body of Christ.
To Educate Members on the history, traditions, and heritage of both the Seventh-day Adventist Church and our beloved nation.
To Encourage Fellowship through shared stories, songs, and food that reflect our identities.
This week is more than a celebration. It is a moment of reflection, unity, and joy as we honor our past, rejoice in our present, and step boldly into the future as proud believers and cultural ambassadors.
